i shouldn't be reading emails
as the new director, i have access to my boss's inbox because i handle stuff for her and i need the code. i recently found out that the dude who got demoted still makes the same money. higher than me. i am gutted. i asked my boss, and it looks like she didn't realise the pay hasn't been updated.
i want to be petty and stop all the work until it's resolved.
or give the dude a hard time because he's fucking giving me hard time by doing a shitty job now i have to mend all the broken pieces, fucking bitch.
but the other part of my brain says, you know what, just do your job. who cares if he gets paid more, let his conscience get to him.
